The process of booking a room with Wellow consists of four steps, following the receipt and approval of your application submitted via email, phone, or directly through the website using the “Submit your rental request” option:

  1. Completion of the booking questionnaire

  2. Signing of the lease agreement and guarantor document, and payment of the booking fees

  3. Confirmation of the reservation and access to the Wellow application

  4. Key collection and self-conducted inventory check-in

To receive the questionnaire, you must contact the Wellow team (phone / mail) or apply directly online for one of the available rooms using the “Submit your rental request” option.

Once this step is completed and your application has been approved, you will be asked to fill in a short questionnaire sent directly to your email.

This step is essential to collect the information required to prepare your lease agreement and ensure a smooth move-in process.

Structure of the Questionnaire

The questionnaire is divided into several sections:

  • Your personal information and identification documents;

  • Your emergency contact;

  • Your choice of guarantor (individual or organization) - note that an individual guarantor must be living in France and earn a minimum of €2,000 net per month;

  • Your preferences regarding data processing and GDPR compliance.


Step-by-Step Guide to Completing the Questionnaire

1. Accessing the Questionnaire

  • You can submit a booking request by email ([email protected]), by phone, or directly on the Wellow website by selecting your desired room and clicking on “Submit a rental request.” Once your application has been approved by the Wellow team, you will receive an initial email containing a link to the questionnaire.

  • You will receive a link to the questionnaire in the first email following your reservation request.

  • Click the link to open the form.


2. Providing Accurate Personal Information

  • Ensure that all details (name, contact information, etc.) match your official documents.

  • These details will be used to draft your lease and handle legal formalities.


3. Preparing and Uploading Required Documents

Before filling out the form, make sure you have the necessary documents ready. You will be asked to upload them during the questionnaire, including:

  • A copy of your ID or passport;

  • A copy of your guarantor's ID or passport (if using an individual guarantor);

  • Or the guarantee certificate from the guarantor organization (if you cannot provide a French guarantor and are therefore using a guarantor organization like SmartGarant or GarantMe);


4. Reviewing and Submitting the Questionnaire

  • Double-check your responses to ensure they are accurate before submitting the form.

  • Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email from Wellow, inviting you to move on to step 2.


Key Points to Remember

  • Deadline: The questionnaire, the rental contract and the first payment must be completed within 48 hours to secure your reservation. Otherwise, the booking will be released.

  • Accuracy: Any missing or incorrect information may delay the preparation of your lease.

  • Assistance: If you encounter any issues accessing the form or uploading documents, contact our team at [email protected].

  • Costs: Be prepared for :

    • the first rent (prorated)

    • the entry fee

    • the refundable security deposit

      which will be invoiced after completing the questionnaire.
