4️⃣ Step 4 of the Reservation Process: Key Collection and Self-Guided Move-In Inspection

Booking a room with Wellow involves 4 steps:

  1. Filling out the reservation questionnaire

  2. Signing the lease and guarantee agreement, and paying the reservation fees

  3. Confirmation of the reservation and access to the Wellow app

  4. Key collection and self-guided move-in inspection

This article will guide you through Step 4: collecting your keys and conducting your self-guided move-in inspection.


1. Wait for the Start Date of Your Lease to Access Key Collection Information

This step is only accessible after completing the first three reservation steps, including connecting to the Wellow app.

Here’s how it works:

  • Log into the Wellow app on the start date of your lease.

  • Once logged in, the interface will automatically update. The page "It’s Time to Collect Your Keys" will become available.

  • This page will include the integration with our key collection partner, Keynest.

You’ll find the following information:

  • The exact address of the partner store near your apartment.

  • The code you’ll need to provide to the store clerk to collect your keys.


2. Go to the Indicated Store to Collect Your Keys

  • Visit the address provided in the app.

  • Inform the store clerk that you’re collecting keys on behalf of "Keynest".

  • Provide the collection code found in the app.

Once the code is verified, the store clerk will hand over your keys.

⚠️ If you encounter any issues:
Keynest offers a question-and-answer interface integrated into the Wellow app to help resolve problems quickly.


3. Access Your Apartment and Room

After collecting your keys, return to the Wellow app and:

  • Click on the “Apartment Info” button.

  • Access all the information needed to:

    • Enter the building,

    • Enter your apartment,

    • View the apartment layout to easily locate your room.


4. Confirm Access to Your Apartment and Unlock All Wellow App Features

Once you’re inside the apartment, open the Wellow app to confirm your move-in.

Once confirmed, you’ll unlock access to all Wellow app features, including:

  • Managing equipment in the apartment,

  • Messaging and connecting with your housemates,

  • Accessing administrative documents related to your lease.


5. Conduct Your Self-Guided Move-In Inspection

On the main interface of the Wellow app, you’ll find an invitation to conduct your move-in inspection.

The move-in inspection includes 4 simple steps:

  1. Photograph your keys for verification.

  2. Perform a quick check of certain appliances and equipment.

  3. Report any defects or damages identified during your move-in.

  4. Validate the inventory of equipment in the apartment.

Deadline for the inspection:

  • You have 7 days after your move-in date to complete the inspection.

  • The process is entirely self-guided and designed to be simple and efficient.


Key Points to Remember

  • Access to the Wellow App: Ensure you’ve completed all prior steps to access key collection information.

  • Clear Instructions: All necessary details to access your apartment will be available in the app.

  • Autonomy: You’ll be guided through each step via the app for a smooth and stress-free experience.
